Speaking about the move, Cllr Cox said, “I’m pleased to announce that £10,000 will be made available for a tree maintenance programme. It’s great that we’ve been able to find the resources to do this as it is something that residents are concerned about, especially with the recent high winds. This is something that the Cabinet has been working on for a number of months now and the programme will look at large trees on Council owned land an public highways.”

HBC: Extended £10k tree programme announced
Cllr Paul Cox, Cabinet Member for Environmental Services, announced today that the Council is to make £10,000 available for a tree maintenance programme. The program will look at tackling some of the issues that have been rasied by residents over the last few months.
