Congratulations to Steve, who ran an effective campaign. Those residents who I canvassed after Steve spoke well of him, and even those who were not going to lend him their vote had nothing negative to say of him personally. My experience of the campaign was that it was very good natured on the part of all four parties (unlike some of the other ones elsewhere in the borough!), which reflects well on politics in Hyndburn.
