Incredible Edibles have approached the Hyndburn Councillors for assistance in publicising their cleanup events over the coming few weeks. One has already taken place on 12th October and volunteers are requested.
Event coordinator Cath Holmes said, "We would really appreciate some help with work events we are holding in Oak Hill Park to clear back and repair the rock garden pools which are leaking, overgrown and full of debris. Working days are Saturday 20th and 26th October from 10.30am until abround 3.00pm. We will meet at Manchester Road by the top gates at Oak Hill Park. Tools and gloves will be provided but please wear appropriate footwear and clothing. Don't forget to bring your own lunch and drinks!"
The events will not be taking place if it is raining as sand and cement are needed to do the repairs. For more information email Cath at cath.holmes@pendle.gov.uk
