Great Harwood: Farmers' Market August 2013

This popular Farmers Market, which was recently runner up in the Association of Town Centre Management awards, is back in Great Harwood on the town square Sunday 4th August.  Featuring lots of independent food stalls ranging from cheese, jams, chutneys meats, fish, scrumptious cakes and pies plus a range of cheeses, and also locally produced beer.

Cllr Clare Pritchard, Cabinet Member for Town Centres, said; “The market is fast becoming established on the Farmers Market calendar with over 30 stalls and lots of people from across the region coming along each month.  Please come along on 4th August and enjoy this traditional community event.”

Nick Gaskell, of Gaskells Motors said; “It’s wonderful to see the market gathering momentum and becoming established on the Farmers Market calendar.  It’s also great the market is raising lots of cash for local good causes, so please come and see us on the 4th August on Towngate."
