West Accrington Housing Market Renewal moves forward

The final remaining buildings scheduled for demolition in the historical West Accrington HMR projects are in the process of being demolished after the completion of the new Astons Pharmacy building on Blackburn Road.

Cllr Clare Pritchard, Cabinet member for Housing and Regeneration, said, "It's great news that we can finally complete this project and am hopeful that, with the success Keepmoat are having with sales of the houses in the phase that is currently being completed, building will be taking place on this site in the near future"
