Church Labour Councillor Loraine Cox has been out around the
Church Kirk area delivering invites to the next Church Kirk Residents
Association meeting. Cllr Cox also used the opportunity to walk around
the ward identifying any issues or flytippings that required reporting.
Chair of Church Kirk Residents Association, Jean Battle, said, "Councillor Loraine Cox has helped deliver many of the
leaflets advertising our next meeting. Since being elected last May
Loraine has worked with all the local community groups and has been a
massive help to the residents of Church."
Cllr Cox added, "The residents association asked at the last meeting if I
could help spread the word across our ward in promoting the group. I
think it’s vitally important to get out and about. We try and arrange
planned ward walks with several of the local services which includes the
local Police team and Hyndburn Homes area officers but nothing beats
just being out meeting residents."
The Residents Meeting is to be held at Bank St Community centre from
7.30pm, all Church Kirk residents are welcome. Or if you are unable to
attend just simple get in contact with either the Chair, Mrs Battle, or
the local ward Councillor Loraine Cox.
