Flytipping at Woodlands in Clayton-le-Moors has been reported to Cllr Miles Parkinson and the Parks department at HBC have now dealt with it.
The issue of slipping on the footbridge was also raised shortly afterwards and some chicken wire has now been nailed to the surface to make it safe to walk on.
