Shop owners and local businesses are invited to a drop-in consultation event on 24th March where they can have their say about new planning policy proposals for shop fronts in Hyndburn.
Local people are welcome to attend the event at Accrington Town Hall on Thursday 24th March. The session will run from 5.30pm until 7pm and will give people the chance to chat to Council Officers and air their views about a new draft planning policy and guidance note for shop fronts, security shutters and their design.
The policy and guidance note encourages high quality design and heritage to help promote vibrant and attractive street scenes around the Borough. Once adopted the documents will form part of the new Local Plan for the Borough and will be a key consideration in deciding future planning applications.
