With the election now just over a month away, campaigning is stepping up a gear across the borough with 12 Council seats up for grabs and Graham Jones seeking a second term as Hyndburn MP for Labour.
In Rishton, Cllr Clare Cleary is also hoping for re-election after her first victory in 2011. Her two ward colleagues, Cllr Harry Grayson and Cllr Ken Moss, are both on the campaign trail with her and fully support her as the best choice for Rishton in 2015.
Cllr Grayson said, "Clare is leading on the regeneration of empty plots of Rishton land that have lain dormant for far too long. Her energy, drive and passion will see this through to a successful conclusion."
Cllr Moss said, "Here in Rishton the three of us are better than the sum of our parts and we very much want to keep Clare on the Council. She has done so much for the community and the borough as a whole so please vote Labour this May."
Photos showing Clare's campaign can be seen here at the Hyndburn Labour Facebook page.
Local and national voting takes place on May 7th from 7.00am until 10.00pm.
