Barnfield: Graffiti mural remembers World Wars

Decorative graffiti art to commemorate the World Wars is in the works for murals at Oakhill Park following a collaboration between HBC and the Civic Arts Theatre.

Cabinet member for Education, Leisure and The Arts, Cllr Ken Moss, said, "The HBC Parks department have been working with the Civic Theatre in Oswaldtwistle on replacing the graffiti art at the MUGA in Oakhill Park. They have been working with young people and have come up with the various designs which will be turned into graffiti art. They are inspired by the PALS and are both moving and pretty impressive."
