Great Harwood: Beer festival at The Victoria

The Victoria pub on St John's Street in Great Harwood (known locally as the Butcher Brig) will be hosting its annual beer festival from Thursday 17th to Saturday 19th September 2015.

Jean Baxter, landlady of the 110 year old Grade II listed pub, said, "We always have 8 or 9 real ales on as standard but there will be lots more for people to come in and try over the weekend and we're also including real ciders this time. Entry is free so there's no excuse not to pop in and sample a few!"

Cllr Ken Moss, who is a member of CAMRA, said, "Jean keeps a great selection of beers on in a magnificent pub and the Butcher is one of my favourite Sunday afternoon retreats. For anyone who has an interest in good ale then this is the place for you, the beer festivals are fantastic!"
