The Friends of Memorial Park are pleased to announce that Mr Bernard Bond has kindly offered to share his photographic collection and displays of Great Harwood Railway with you at Bank Mill House.
This production has taken many hours to compile and contains new images never before shown in public. Bernard has a wealth of knowledge on this historic railway line and is accredited as an expert amongst fellow rail enthusiasts. He will be more than happy to answer any questions you may have on the night.
The excursion leaves platform 1 on Wednesday 2nd March - 7:30pm prompt. A buffet car (available adjacent to the first class accommodation) will be provided for your comfort along the journey.
Please come along and enjoy this trip down memory lane - you may even see yourself or a relative on the screen!
Tickets are limited and available at Great Harwood Library from this week. Alternatively if you wish to reserve your "first Class seat" give Ian Wilkinson a ring on 01254 886707.
