Peel: Patrick Short helps Councillors to clear greenery on Cedar Street

The Peel Labour team recently spent a busy afternoon clearing land on Cedar Street that had become overgrown. They were joined by 2016 candidate Paddy Short and his trusty strimmer.

Paddy said, "We cut back an area which had become badly overgrown with weeds and nettles and it looks a lot better now. The cutback was organised by Cllr Joyce Plummer and we were joined by her husband Vincent and Cllr Bernard Dawson. It was worth it but we were all shattered afterwards!"
