How to obtain your bowls pass for the new season

It is the time of year again that people can start to apply for bowls passes to play crown green bowls on greens managed by the Hyndburn Borough Council during the summer months.
The bowls pass issued allows the holder to bowl on any of the 10 council managed bowling greens throughout the borough, and are valid from 1 April until 30 September 2014.

Bowls passes are free for residents of the borough and for non-Hyndburn residents cost £10.00 per season.
This is a list of the bowling greens, where the pass can be used-
Bullough Park in Accrington
Milnshaw Park (which has 2 bowling greens) in Accrington
Oak Hill Park (which has 2 bowling greens) in Accrington
Peel Park in Accrington
Mercer Park in Clayton-le-Moors
Gatty Park in Church
Lowerfold Park in Great Harwood
Rhyddings Park in Oswaldtwistle

Residents can apply for a bowls pass from the Parks Service based at Willows Lane Depot by ringing the Sports Pitch Booking line on 01254 356 265 or ‘silver surfers’ can request a pass via email pitchbookings@hyndburnbc.gov.uk
