Hyndburn Labour would like to wish everyone a happy St George's Day and the English patron saint's day is being marked by various pubs, clubs and groups around the borough.
Cabinet member for Education, Leisure and The Arts, Cllr Ken Moss said, "I would encourage anyone who wants to fly the England flag on 23rd April and celebrate being English to do so with pride. The flag is now flown permanently at various locations and I applaud anyone who wants to show their patriotism in this way."
