First elected in 2011, Milnshaw Labour Councillor Paul Cox is standing for a second term and has been canvassing for over six months.
Paul said, "Four years ago I was elected to represent Milnshaw Ward in Hyndburn, over this time I have worked, as promised, to improve this area. Improving Milnshaw Park & Dyke Nook Gardens have been part of this process. Over this time I have worked with local community groups, schools and charitable organisations to get the best Milnshaw deserves."
Malcolm Sommerville, Chair of Laneside Residents Association, said "Paul has been a great help and revelation over the last four years and worked with us to improve this estate. Volunteering and just generally getting hands on in projects to benefit the area."

Voting takes place on 7th May between 7.00am and 10.00pm.
