The footpaths on West Crescent on the Laneside estate have undergone some important improvement works over the last couple of weeks. The footpaths have been resurfaced by Lancashire County Council adding to the other works undertaken on Ribblesdale Avenue.
Milnshaw ward Labour Councillor, Paul Cox, said, "This is another example of how a strong labour team working together can get work like this done, helping to improve the area for the residents of Laneside. Using our influence at both levels of local Government we have been able to lobby to have this work done."
Cllr Cox added, "I will continue working to ensure more road and footpaths in Milnshaw are repaired and resurfaced. I do urge residents to get in touch and let me know of any highways issues they may have, which I will happily pass on."
