Altham 2015: Labour hold

Cllr Miles Parkinson has won the Altham local election and secured another term as one of the two ward Councillors. The count took place in the newly-refurbished Town Hall at 11.00am on 8th May 2015 and Miles will now hold his position until 2019.

The results were as follows:

• Miles Parkinson (Labour) - 1,164
• Stacey Melling (Conservative) - 585
• Lee Entwistle (UKIP) - 594
• John Bolam (Green) - 103

The total percentage of voters who turned out in Altham was 59.97%.
