Barnfield 2015: Labour hold

Cllr June Harrison has won the Barnfield local election and secured a second term as one of the two ward Councillors. The count took place in the newly-refurbished Town Hall at 11.00am on 8th May 2015 and June will now hold her position until 2019.

The results were as follows:

• June Harrison (Labour) - 938
• Jean Hurn (Conservative) - 691
• Walter Brown (UKIP) - 425

The total percentage of voters who turned out in Barnfield was 60.87%.
