The state of pavements in Clayton-le-Moors has been addressed by the County Councillor for the area, Miles Parkinson, and remedial steps have now been taken.
Miles said, "One of the main issues for residents are roads and footpaths. I have fought hard for Whalley Road, First and Second Avenue, Cranbourne Avenue, William Street and Windsor Avenue for money to be spent on them after residents complaining about the state of them. Unfortunately due to limited resources and continued cuts to Councils budgets some areas l have only managed to get patching."
