Overton 2015: Labour hold

Cllr Gareth Molineux has won the Overton local election and secured a second term as one of the three ward Councillors. The count took place in the newly-refurbished Town Hall at 11.00am on 8th May 2015 and Gareth will now hold his position until 2019.

The results were as follows:

• Gareth Molineux (Labour) - 1,132
• Patrick McGinley (Conservative) - 1,093
• Ian Robinson (UKIP) - 900
• Joan West (Green) - 164

The total percentage of voters who turned out in Overton was 65.21%.
