Shown above is a picture of the Accrington Bus Station site taken from the nearby train bridge in July 2015.
Works are demonstrably progressing on the site, with particular progress being made on the retaining walls at the edges of the site. The next major works to be undertaken on the site are the erection of the steelwork which is due to commence from Monday 10th August. This should take for approximately 3 weeks to complete.
This signifies the first major, visible, piece of work on the main station building after a lot of work has been put in to prepare the area ready for this.
