Great Harwood: The Crying of the Fair - 21st August 2015

Great Harwood Civic Society announces the tradition ‘Crying’ of the Great Harwood Fair, which will take place on 21st August at 9am by the Town Crier, Mr Rawden Kerr on the Town Square, Great Harwood.

The Worshipful the Mayor of Hyndburn, Cllr Marlene Haworth will be in attendance, accompanied by members of Great Harwood Civic Society.

Residents of Great Harwood and the Borough of Hyndburn are invited to join in this colourful and historical ceremony of the charter granted to Great Harwood in 1318.
